TAX REVENUES TO NATIONAL BUDGET EXCEEDED 22.594 BILLION LEI BY BEGINNING OF MAY

Tax revenues to the national budget exceeded 22.594 billion lei by early May, which is 2.1 billion lei or 10.4% more than in the same period of 2023, according to operative data from the State Tax Service (STS). Most of all, the tax officials ensured revenues to the state budget - 9.620 billion lei (+2.9%) and to the social fund - 7.866 billion lei (+17.4%). The contributions to the local budgets reached 2.469 billion lei (+15.3%), and to the mandatory health insurance funds - 2.617 billion lei (+16.1%).
