AIPA PROVIDED SUBSIDIES WORTH 247 MILLION LEI IN APRIL TO MORE THAN 900 FARMERS

The Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture ((AIPA) transferred in April subsidies to agricultural producers totaling 247.25 million lei.

AIPA granted 916 applications under different programs. Most of the funds were paid in the form of post-investment subsidies - 115.8 million lei. They were received by 272 beneficiaries.

Also, 330 applications for financial assistance were approved. In total, almost 46.95 million lei was allocated for this purpose. Besides, AIPA paid about 26 million lei to 148 beneficiaries in the form of additional payments, 26.5 million lei to 46 applicants for advance payments and almost 32 million lei to 120 beneficiaries for direct payments per kilogram of milk.

Since the beginning of the year, the agency has transferred subsidies worth 962.45 million lei, which is 58.33% of the total amount of the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development, which amounts to 1.6 billion lei for the current year.
